Brief Description
- Hands-on training for service engineers who want to understand the design, operation and maintenance of Jenbacher gas engine modules.
Target Group
- Field Techs for the Jenbacher product portfolio or employees from other departments who need detailed product knowledge for their daily jobs. This training is a prerequisite for the course module ´FTA - Advanced Field Tech Training´ and "MR - Maintenance & Repair Training".
Theoretical and practical contents
- Gas train adjustments
- Engine control system DIA.NE XT – level 15/20 (speed-, power- and LEANOX controller optimization)
- Engine management systems – DIA.NE XT versions WIN/XT4
- Trouble shooting with the support of P&IDs and wiring diagrams
- Ignition systems - spark plugs adjustments, ignition coils, measurement and adjustment of pickup
- Knocking control system and measurements of knocking sensor signals
- Carry out inspection and maintenance work according to maintenance instructions - maintenance schedules, secure engine shut down, special tools, maintenance works up to 10k Oph
Participation in this training course will give you
- the knowledge required for a successful operation of the Jenbacher gas engine equipment in manual and automatic modes as well as to operate the different DIA.NE XT generations at password level 15/20
- guidance on the regular maintenance tasks according to the 10k Oph maintenance schedule
- the ability to adjust and optimize the relevant control loops including the adjustment of the LEANOX controller
- the ability to adjust and optimize different type of gas trains

Prerequisites
- Education in electrical or mechanical engineering
- eTraining ´FTB part 1’, ‘FTB part 2’ and ‘FTB part 3’ must be completed before the training starts
- eTraining ‘DIA.NE XT4 Basics’ must be completed before the training starts
- Participants must bring their own safety boots
- Participants must bring a laptop to the training
