OPT - Operator Live Online Training - Part A: Theory

Brief Description

  • Live online seminar for operators who do not need to carry out practical tasks at the engine but want to understand the design, operation and maintenance of Jenbacher gas engine modules.

Target Group

  • Customers and operating staff of Jenbacher gas engines who need to be familiar with the day to-day equipment and operation of their gas engine(s).
  • Please note: Only after OPT - Live Online Training and OPT - Hands On Training were both completed, is the requirement for the course modules "TJM – Training on the Job - Maintenance" and “TJE -Training on the Job –Extended Access to DIA.NE XT” fulfilled.

  • Engine general
  • Engine components
  • Operation modes
  • Technical documentation
  • Operation materials
  • Engine management system (e.g. manual and automatic engine operation, operation of DIA.NE XT and DIA.NE WIN at operator level, adjustment and optimization of DIA.NE XT parameters for engine start)
  • Brief discussion of inspection and maintenance tasks according to our maintenance schedules

Participation in this training course will give you

  • a good overview of the Jenbacher gas engine technology
  • the ability to understand operating documents and their structure
  • an insight into the structure of a Jenbacher gas engine module and the terminology for the individual components
  • an awareness of the maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule for operators

Comments

  • Course duration: 5 training units of 60 minutes per day, on 3 consecutive days (3 days of 6.5 hours including lunch and coffee breaks)
  • Languages: German, English, other languages on request
  • Number of participants: minimum of 5 and maximum of 8 people

Prerequisites

  • Education in or experience of electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Basic IT knowledge (Windows, Office, internet, web conferencing tools)
  • PC or laptop with a stable internet connection, a headset, a webcam and ideally a second monitor
