Brief Description
- Basic training for service engineers who want to understand the design, operation and maintenance of Jenbacher gas engine module Type 9.
Target Group
- Service technicians for the Jenbacher Type 9 product line and employees from other departments who require detailed product knowledge about Type 9. This training is a prerequisite for completing the course module "MR9 - Maintenance and repair training Type 9".
Theoretical and practical contents
- Engine and engine components
- Operating materials (water, gas, oil, compressed air, technical instructions)
- Technical diagram & circuit diagram
- Engine control (speed, power and LEANOX controller, parameters)
- Ignition system
- System peripherals and auxiliary systems
- Alarm management
- Sensors (knock control, main & connecting rod bearing temperature monitoring, cylinder pressure measurement)
- Inspection and maintenance work according to the maintenance schedule (maintenance schedules, engine shutdown, special tools, maintenance work on the engine - up to 10,000 operating hours)
Participation in this training course will give you
- a good overview of the Jenbacher gas engine technology of Type 9
- Knowledge of the structure of a Jenbacher Type 9 gas engine module and the naming of the individual components
- Basic knowledge of the CHP plant structure
- the knowledge to successfully operate the Jenbacher gas engine Type 9 in automatic and manual mode
- the ability to adapt and optimize the relevant control loops including Leanox control
- the knowledge to adapt and optimize different gas circuits
- Instructions for control maintenance at 10,000 operating hours intervals according to the maintenance schedule.
