Brief Description

  • Training for project managers and site managers who want to understand how to professionally install Jenbacher gas engine units.

Target Group

  • Employees involved in site installations such as project managers, site managers and design engineers. Also for employees from other functions who need thorough working knowledge of engineering and installation requirements for Jenbacher gas engine modules and their auxiliaries.

Theoretical and practical contents

  • transport and installation of Jenbacher gas engines
  • interfaces / interconnections of Jenbacher gas engine modules
  • space requirements for a typical CHP installation (general arrangement drawings)
  • gas supply system
  • engine room ventilation systems
  • cooling water / warm water piping
  • lubrication oil system
  • exhaust gas system
  • electrical connections and cables (generator, breakers, control cubicles)

Participation in this training course will give you

  • a solid understanding of transport and installation requirements
  • an overview of the interfaces of the various types of gas engine modules
  • the ability to estimate necessary space requirements for the individual components of a CHP installation
  • an insight into best practices of engineering and installation according to the relevant technical instructions
  • the knowledge of necessary considerations regarding cables and electrical connections for CHP installations

Prerequisites

  • General understanding of Jenbacher gas engine technology
  • Basic knowledge of Jenbacher documentation (engine drawings, P&ID, wiring diagram, etc.)
  • Participants must bring their own safety boots
