Brief Description

  • Advanced training for experienced commissioning engineers who want to understand in-depth the operation and adjustment of a Jenbacher gas engine unit in island mode.

Participation in this training course will give you

  • an overview of the differences between mains parallel operation and island mode operation of gas engines
  • information about the different types of island mode operation and their characteristics
  • detailed knowledge about different types of controllers, their adjustment and setting of parameters
  • a solid understanding of Technical Instructions regarding island mode operation
  • an insight into the characteristics of generators in island mode operation
