Brief Description
- Advanced training for operators who want to carry out extended maintenance tasks at type 6 engines (excluding type 624 engines). Please contact your local Service representative to find out if you meet the criteria to attend this course.

Theoretical and practical contents
- engine and module structure of engine type 6
- generator coupling
- change of rubber coupling disc
- changing of cylinder heads, cylinder liners, pistons, con rods, prechamber
- change vibration damper
- change crankshaft seal ring
- main, con rod and thrust bearings
- maintenance of gas mixer (potentiometer and servomotor)
- handling of special tools (mobile crane, hydraulic tools) - EXCEPT change of flywheel hub flange
- over/undersized engine parts
- change of throttle valve bearings
- re-commissioning after completion of maintenance tasks
Participation in this training course will give you
- the necessary knowledge to carry out extended maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule for operators

- 'OPT - Operator Training' completed
