 Jenbacher service technicians who are to carry out independent maintenance and repairs on Jenbacher Type 9 gas engine and have already successfully completed the basic training (FTB/FTB9) as part of the certification program.

Target Group

  • Jenbacher service technicians who are to carry out independent maintenance and repairs on Jenbacher Type 9 gas engine and have already successfully completed the basic training (FTB/FTB9) as part of the certification program.

Theoretical and practical contents

  • Maintenance of cylinder head, pre-chamber gas valve, pre-chamber
  • Maintenance of piston with connecting rod, piston cooling system, liners BR9
  • Replacement of vibration damper Type 9
  • Maintenance of crankshaft main bearing and crankshaft axial bearing BR9
  • Replacing the camshaft Type 9
  • Use of special tools incl. safety instruction
  • Replacement of port injection valves
  • Valve train maintenance

Participation in this training course will give you

  • … a deepening of the contents of the FTB and FTB9 training
  • … the knowledge to be able to carry out maintenance work according to the maintenance plan

Prerequisites

  • FTB9 - Field Tech Basic Training for Type 9 must be completed
  • Experience in mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering is recommended
  • Participants must bring their own safety boots & working clothes
